    Registration Link

  2. What if I have to cancel a camp? Can I get a refund?

Payment is due at time of registration. There will be no refunds for classes/camps offered at the Powerhouse(exceptions made for Covid). You may request a credit for a future camp/class with Art to Go (my company) at the Powerhouse. Credits must be requested 1 week prior to the start of the class/camp. Credits expire 12 months after the original camp/class start date. Using a credit is subject to availability in the class/camp. Change of registration between half and full day can only be offered for the entire week. Prorating or per day changes are not offered due to the time needed to schedule staff and prepare materials.

  3. What if I want to switch my child’s camp week?

A switch will be made only if there is availability for another class. Switches cannot be done past a week before the scheduled start date.

  4. What ages are camps geared for at the Powerhouse?

    Ages 4-12

  5. Does my child have to be potty trained?

Yes, please note that all children must be potty trained in order to attend art camp.

  6. Does my child have to bring anything to camp?

All supplies are included and most snacks. Children who come full day need to bring lunch, drinks and bottled water and a mat for watching movies. Children with food allergies will need to bring special snacks they can eat. Occasionally children will be asked to bring in a t-shirt or something for tie-dye days but advance notice will be given.

Art and Sewing Lessons at Art To Go Studio

  1. How do I register and pay?

You schedule on the online scheduling site on this website.

  2. Registration link

  3. How much are private lessons?

30.00 per hour. Most people opt for one hour lessons but some adults and teens prefer 1.5 hour lessons.

  4. When are private lessons given in the studio?

I have lots of slots both in the afternoons and mornings Monday-Friday and Sunday afternoons. Lessons are given mid August to mid May. Summer lessons are not held in the studio due to camp schedule. Students can opt for once a week or every other week. We also have some students who sign up for a set amount of time-such as 6 weeks of lessons.

  5. When is payment due?

Payment is due at time of scheduling each lesson.

  6. What if I have to cancel a lesson?

You can reschedule it up to 48 hours in advance on the online scheduling app. If you have to cancel after the 48 hour window, you forfeit the lesson unless it is a cancellation due to illness. No shows are not rescheduled or refunded.

  7. What ages are lessons geared for?

3 and up (must be potty trained) for art and 7 and up for sewing

  8. What do kids do in art/sewing lessons?

We gear the lessons to your child’s interest and goals.

  9. Can parents come with their child to art/sewing lessons?

While most children come by themselves, some parents will come the first few lessons with a young child to get them comfortable if necessary. We take this on an individual basis. Do not hesitate to ask.

  10. Can my child come with a friend to art/sewing lessons?

Yes, but each child will have to pay the full amount for lessons and register separately as well.

  11. What does my child need to bring to lessons?

I provide all materials though occasionally I will ask a child to bring in a picture or reference from which to work on in class (ex. a picture of a pet, etc.) In sewing lessons, kids will be required to bring their own fabric for bigger projects they want to tackle such as garments, costumes, pillowcases, etc.

  12. Do you teach adults?

I do teach many adults how to sew. Sometimes we have small group art classes in fiber art techniques but private lessons are in sewing techniques only. Cost is the same as the 30.00 hourly rate for lessons.
