About Andi

Trained as a costume designer and originally from South Louisiana, I now live and work in Oxford, MS where I work as a mixed media fiber artist and teacher in my community.

After 20 years in the theater costuming business, I was ready to do something that incorporated both my costuming expertise, my art training and my passion for teaching people of all ages. With a lot of help from the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council and the Mississippi Small Business department at Ole Miss, I launched Art To Go LLC, so I could start teaching classes all over the community. This includes bringing some free art activities to public events, teaching classes at private schools and events and sharing my love of art with others. In partnership with the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council, we offer summer art camps, holiday art camps, adult art classes and arts programming on a regular basis in our community. I am insured and educated with over 10 years teaching young children and over 17 teaching in college. I now have a studio where I offer private lessons in sewing and art which has allowed me to expand my reach as a teacher.

I can also be found around town designing costumes, painting, art journaling, drawing, scrapbooking, quilting and engaging in many crafty pursuits.
